Meet Tully
After years of trying everything from dance to gymnastics to parkour, I followed my older sister into the barn, climbed on a pony, and something clicked. I loved the challenge of every ride, the different personality each horse brought to it, and the community of riders who made the barn feel like a place I wanted to keep coming back to.
After two years of riding for fun, I moved to Wells Bridge Farm, where I began building the foundation for competitive riding under the training of Paul & Dorothy Rohrbach. Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to ride and compete with several different horses, and each one has challenged me in a different way. Learning how to adjust my ride to each horse has been one of the most valuable parts of my development. It has taught me to be patient, adaptable, and thoughtful in the ring, especially when things do not go according to plan.
I currently compete in the 3'3" Equitation Medals, with the goal of continuing to develop at the national level.

Tully is a sophomore in the Class of 2029 at Colorado Early Colleges in Castle Rock, Colorado.
She takes dual-enrollment college courses and is working toward graduating from high school with an Associate of Arts degree.
Balancing school and riding has taught her to manage a demanding schedule, stay organized, and continue working toward long-term goals.

Beyond My Rounds
Horses are a big part of my life outside the show ring. I help care for horses in my neighborhood by feeding, lunging, cleaning stalls, and helping wherever I am needed. As I have gained more experience, I have also really enjoyed taking on a leadership role at the barn, especially encouraging younger riders, helping when I can, and watching their confidence grow along with their riding. I enjoy the everyday work that comes with horses just as much as competing because it reminds me that good horsemanship is built through consistency, responsibility, and time in the barn.

“I had the pleasure of training Tully from a relatively early stage in her riding through her development into a successful competitor at the 3' and the beginnings of her time competing at the 3'3". In that time, she rode five different horses with a wide range of training and quality. While Tully's natural feel and talent were evident from a young age, what has always impressed me most is her coachability, resilience, and work ethic. She is willing to hear difficult feedback, trust the process, and genuinely work to apply it, even when an adjustment may feel uncomfortable or counterintuitive. When faced with challenges, Tully has consistently responded by asking what she can learn, how she can work harder or smarter, and how she can put both herself and her horse in the best position to succeed. Just as importantly, she is an exceptional sportsman and teammate. Even on her own difficult days, she celebrates the successes of those around her, supports her barn mates, and is willing to put in the early mornings and extra work required to improve. Those qualities, even more than her considerable ability in the saddle, are what I believe will make Tully an invaluable addition to a collegiate equestrian team.”

Why NCEA
One of my biggest goals is to ride on an NCEA team in college. I want to be part of a program where I can continue developing as a rider while contributing as a hardworking student, supportive teammate, and horsewoman. I am excited by how much I still have to learn and accomplish, and I hope college is another chapter in a life with horses, strong teammates, and opportunities to give back to the sport that has already given me so much.
